Ties That Bind & other news!

Ties That Bind released 11/29 - thanks to everyone who's bought and read and emailed and reviewed! Although it's technically a stand-alone novella, Glen, the main character, is friends with Tomcat, who you met in Book 2, Bound By Law.

Tomcat's book, Bound By Danger, has been pushed back a little, to June 29th, but I should still have 3 releases in 2012 - you'll just get them closer together.  Do you see the cover on the right?  Gorgeous, right?!

Bound By Honor's print release is in February and Bound By Law's in July, I believe.  They're both up for
preorder at Amazon.

Again, I really want to thank my readers for their support - your emails mean the world to me.  I enjoy writing these men so much, and to hear how you're loving them is the coolest thing ever!

Back to writing - see you all after the holidays!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Bound By Law releases August 9th!

Time is flying - I can't believe release day is just about here.  Bound By Law is Book 2 in the Men of Honor series from Samhain!

BOUND BY LAW

The one man he can’t forget is the one whose memories could destroy them all.

After the one man he trusted disappeared, it took Law Connor ten years to take a chance on another relationship. Trouble is, right about the time he’s finally ready to let go of the past, the past stages a hostile takeover.

Back when they were teens, Styx was the boy with no memory. He and Law had each other’s backs until he was forced to leave to keep Law safe. Now a CIA agent, he’s finally discovered who he is, and why he’s a hunted man.

Detective Paulo McMannus has almost succeeded in helping Law forget his lost love when Styx comes plowing back into their lives. No way is Paulo giving up his lover without a fight.

Suddenly Law finds himself on the run with Styx, the man who can still bring him to his knees...and with Paulo, the man who brought him back to life. The worst part? He can’t choose between them. And it’s getting harder to remember why he should.

You can also purchase BBL at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Fictionwise, etc.

Lots of readers have emailed asking about the next story, TIES THAT BIND - it releases end of November.  And no, it's not Tomcat's story...yet - Tomcat's will be a full length story coming (hopefully) in April 2012 - I'm in the process of writing it now.  Ties That Bind is a Christmas novella about a friend of Tomcat - it's m/m with a Navy pilot and a former Marine, Glen and Derek, respectively.  The blurb and cover should be up at Samhain soon.

Again, I want to thank readers for all their support and good wishes - I'm the world's worst blogger and tweeter, but honestly, that's because I'm writing a lot, trying to get you at least 3 releases at year :)  I appreciate all the emails and comments and reviews I get on the books for sure :)

Bound By Honor - review by Cole from Jessewave

Cole from Jessewave wrote a fabulous review of Bound By Honor - honestly, I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful commentary on the book.  Sometimes reviewers will say things and you're like, no, I didn't mean that at all.  But Cole's review really pinpointed what BBH is about to me.  A struggle of wills.  Stubborn men.

Here are a few of my favorite parts:

Review Summary: I couldn’t stop reading this intelligent romance with a unique spin on BDSM, a mystery subplot, and real, compelling characters that tugged on my heart and begged me to cheer for them and the HEA they worked so hard for.
"This book also surprised me in a way that very few books have before. Rarely have I read a book that deals with BDSM where the culture isn’t the center of the story. Here, BDSM is used as a means for the characters to express their desires, expectations, and pre-concieved roles in their relationship. The story isn’t actually about BDSM at all, and in fact, when the characters start to really investigate their feelings and desires and discover this, they realize that they are outgrowing those roles, they’re evolving just as their relationship is, and it is away from the community. Once they find the tools to express those feelings and emotions, they start to investigate having a rather vanilla (though still very rough and tumble) relationship. I appreciated this move from the author, because it showed that she takes her characters seriously and allows them to drive the story, which is what makes this story compelling in the first place."

I've gotten some awesome emails from readers about Bound By Honor and let me tell you, there is NOTHING better than than reader mail!!! For everyone who's read and helped to spread the word - THANK YOU!!!

I'll post the blurb for Bound By Law next week :):)

Bound By Honor review!

Cynthia from Bitten By Paranormal Romance gave Bound By Honor a 5 star review - an Alpha Howl ;)

Here's a snippet of what she said:

I didn’t want to like these guys, not even a little. They were so tormented. They kept denying themselves love. I just wanted to take Damon and LC by the shoulders, shake them, and yell, “Snap. Out. Of. It.” In the end, I couldn’t help myself, I fell and hard...What a breathtaking love story. Two people who are meant for each other but are afraid……

Without a doubt, these are Men of Honor.

Please read the full review here!

Bound By Honor will be available from Samhain as an eBook on March 1st, as well as a Kindle and Nook book.

I love the cover - the designer captured Tanner so perfectly I couldn't believe it.  What do you think?

Right now, I'm working on Book 2 of the Men of Honor series, called Bound By Law.  I just got word that the pub date will be August 2, 2011!  You'll met the hero of book 2 in book 1.
